They reached out for assistance in developing a dynamic video presentation for digital marketing and pitch meetings. The graphics were prepared and shared by their design lead as Illustrator files. From the onset, the provided design elements were the perfect ingredients for creating a visual masterpiece.
I started by exporting all the design elements from Illustrator to After Effects. Since all the required animation elements were available, the animation process began right after. The animation process was (usually is) a tedious one that could only be described as “Aaargh!“
I sent the first animation draft to the team to review and provide their feedback. It’s always advisable to have ‘version control’ not just in software development but for any product that might pose a challenge in making changes retroactively.
With the go-ahead given, I proceeded with the finalization of the videos. This process involved looping the videos repeatedly to spot erratic keyframes and jagged animation sequences.
Having to silence the inner perfectionist, I reluctantly shared the final animated video files.
